An initial appointment involves discussion of your medical history and any medication you are taking. Your general foot health will be assessed and neurovascular assessment will be carried out to check blood flow and nerve function. This appointment will include reduction of long thick nails, removal of corns and calluses.
Any issues uncovered will be discussed alongside any future treatment plan.

These appointments are carried out after the initial consultation and the frequency of it depends of on your needs. This is a routine visit to maintain the health of your feet.

At any one of your appointments you may need an onward referral. If your clinician decides this is in your best interest this will be discussed with you and a copy of the letter will be sent to you.

For more established conditions, fenestration is indicated, which involves small holes painlessly drilled into the nail plate and a fungicide applied daily. The holes must be reinstated every 8 weeks.
